Return and Refund Policy

At Dillonmcco, every power tool we ship is function-checked for quality and durability—because we know your work depends on tools that don’t quit. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. This page sets out our clear and fair return standards for power tools and related accessories.


Return Eligibility

You may return most new, unused tools within 30 days of delivery. To keep our quality standards fair for all customers, please ensure:

  • The tool is unused / unassembled and returned in the original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and parts.
  • No signs of operation, wear, alteration, or customer modification.
  • Valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).

Non-returnable items:

  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”.
  • Opened consumables (e.g., lubricants, bonding agents, sharpening compounds).
  • Used tools or items with installed/used abrasive media, belts, pads, or blades.

No restocking fee. We do not charge a restocking fee on eligible returns.


How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery at support@dillonmcco.com with your order number, item(s), and reason for return.
  2. Receive RMA & instructions: We will email a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and the correct return address. For inventory control and safety, returns without an RMA may be refused.
  3. Ship securely: Repack the item to prevent transit damage and use a trackable carrier. The return must be received within 14 days of RMA issuance.

Return shipping: Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or confirmed defect), customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable except where the issue was our fault.


Damaged or Defective Tools

If your order arrives damaged or appears defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos (outer box, inner packaging, product/label, and the issue area)

We will assess and offer a replacement, repair, or full refund depending on the situation.


Refunds

  • After your return is delivered, inspection is typically completed within 1–2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.
  • If an item shows use, damage, or missing parts, we may decline the refund and can return the product to you at your expense.

Exchanges

We don’t process direct exchanges. For a different model or configuration, please return the original item (if eligible) for a refund and place a new order.


Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled at no charge before shipment. Once shipped, the order must be received and processed as a return.
